New Arc Audio Pamphlets arrived today....products look sick...can't wait to install something new!!

Adding to last years upgrade:

Installed a Mono Block Alpine amplifier to push a JL woofer in a ported box.
Rewired the rear speakers to be on the 4 channel Alpine as well.

Had a client come in that was concerned about his stock sound system (amplified Focal speakers....if you call that stock)(owner didn't know that Focals were installed).
He's a true audiophile at heart....so Hybrid Audio Technologies is the first speaker that popped into my head.  Wasn't sure about what model to go with, since it's a convertible; but the owner didn't want to install a subwoofer, so Clarus was the choice; they have a lower range of frequencies that they can play...so we squeezed the more amount of mid-bass out of them as we could.

Owner had pre-selected an amazing deck, the Alpine CDA-117....truely an audiophiles headunit of choice.....more audio tweaking options that most need.....just enough for this project.

The doors got a 3 layer sound deadening system (inner door skin, middle door skin, and inside door panel) to help the mid bass out as well as block some road noise.

All of this was pushed by the Arc Audio KS Mini, 2 channel amp....perfect size to fit under the seat where most other amps wouldn't dream of fitting.

Had a buddies new Legacy GT in today....swapped from his previous ride (Chevy Cobalt).
So we're putting in all his old (if you want to call it that) gear:
JVC Double Din Deck
Memphis 6.5" Component Speakers up Front
Arc Audio 3 channel XDi amp pushing the memphis speakers and now
(2) 10" kicker comp cr woofers

This build was differnet as I had to order a dash kit and HVAC unit from Japan....basically anything with JDM on it will be expensive.  Reason being, the GT models have dual climate control HVAC systems that are built into the stock deck, so you cannot simply take it apart and put it back in....so a new dash piece, HVAC unit, custom wiring harness, and mirrored hazard switch were needed.

Install was straight forward, bass knob in top center compartment, amp under passenger seat, besides the sub, you can't tell anything was done...unless you looked at the deck.

Cheers!!

Had a sweet lifted truck in today.  Owner put on all the mods himself, but decided to have Trax do the system.  Got alot going in, so it was a full day.

Truck looks and sounds good now.

Clarion DVD player with video bypassed, iPod input and steering wheel controls (coming this week).
Arc Audio 3 channel XDi amplifier pushing
(2) 10" Arc Audio XXD subwoofers in a custom made box that fits under the rear seats and
Hybrid Audio Technologies Imagine Series 6.5" Component Speakers
Invision Dual DVD player headrests
Custom LED lighting in Dome light and under each persons' feet area.
Custom mounted Backup Camera

Cheers

Got a decent sized project coming up as soon as I can fit it in.
DVD Player (Clarion)
Front Components (Hybrid Audio)
3 Channel Amp (Arc Audio)
Dual 10" Woofers (Arc Audio)
Custom Box to fit under seat

Got the box done today, had to bump out the woofers a bit more because Arc increased their tolerances, and added a 1/2" on the mounting depth for the XXD Woofers.  NO biggy.

Cheers!

This is the second time I've worked on this Cobalt.
1st time as to fix an amp install gone bad.
Original installed mounted the amp on the side wall, and cut the carpet out....so that's why I had to place the amp there.....when it comes back for the interior swap (going from all tan interior to black) I'll build a custom amp rack holder for it, so it'll look a bit better.

Installed some Memphis Sync 6.5" Component speakers in the door.
Swapped out the old Polk 300 watt amp for a new Arc Audio XDi803 amp.  Pushes the front speakers with 80 watts each as well as gives the Kicker woofer 200 watts.  Customer will either be getting another Kicker sub and bigger box so he can use all the 400 watts on the subwoofer side of the amp or will be getting dual Arc Audio XXD subs.

Either way, with the addition of the front stage and a bigger box from the first time.....this system has come alive.....all we need now is a bit of sound deadener to stop the rattles and we're good.

Got the newly painted pods attached, mounted and wired up.
Also, temporarily mounted the new RetroSounds radio in the dash...I say temporarily, because the previous owner used a badger or beaver of some type to make the hole a bit wider and the new radio doesn't sit in flush like i should.....so the owner will be repainting everything within the next year, so once that's done, the hole will be of perfect size and it'll look even more stock than it does already.

Everything turned out great, owner is stoked and it sounds great......already have another set that needs to be made!

Cheers

Got the pods smoothed down and texture painted so they are ready for paint to match the existing wall in the bus....going to look sick in there.  Already have another Bus owner that wants a set....better get them up on Samba!

Installed pics of everything will be coming up soon.

Cheers

Since the Roadster show is coming up, I thought it'd take care of some things on car so she's show ready.
My sub amp was fine, but didn't match my new 4 channel amp....so I get a new one and made a new amp rack cover....looking all better now!

Cheers
