It's only been 5 months...haahha....FINALLY found time to finish everything in this bad boy.
New Memphis 4 channel amp pushing the fronts and maybe some outside wake tower speakers down the road.
New Memphis Monoblock amp pushing the Memphis 10" woofer in the custom made center console.
Made a little amp rack to house everything and we're done....can't believe it took this long.....
Everything bumped pretty good, even with the woofer loading off the rear wall so close.
After a few more coats of the texture/bedliner paint, the box is done and looking good. Installed the woofer and terminal cup and we're good to go.....now just need to schedule a time to finish the install (hopefully when it's nice outside so I don't have to use my heater again!
Cheers!
Got some time to sand and put a few coats of bedliner texture paint down.
Was going to do just to hard to reach areas with the spray on texture, but the coat layed down so well that I think I'll finish like this....such a good texture finish.
Cheers
Got some time to knock out some body work on the Brew Hauls center console.
Everything sealed up, did a test fit on the woofer and play some tunes to it (should pound nicely in the truck) and now it's ready for paint....more to come on this soon.
Cheers
Got the front and side lights for the Accord that I did a projector retrofit in the other week. Now we're getting rid of the amber and chrome, murdering everything out, and replacing all the halogen bulbs with LEDs...should be pretty sweet!!
Still chuggin' away at the center console for the BrewHaul....got it all sealed up, now just working on getting it ready for paint!!
Should be getting Project Stang back in this week. Going to be flush mounting some killer LED foglights and running some new side emitting LEDs in the grill!!
Cheers
No pics, was busy busy starting the subwoofer box for this guy.
Doing a custom center console for the Brew Haul, that will house a 10" Memphis Reference subwoofer and provide some cupholders!!
Also have to make an amp rack, as well as finish the install.
Also this week, will be swapping Overhead screens in the Yukon I did a few weeks ago (wrong color) and custom mounting some LED fog lights in Project Stang
Didn't get much time on this one tonight, but I got started on the tear-down.
There is a lot more room in these bad-boys when you take out the center console! I'd put a sub in there if it was me (Bose actually does do a little rinky-dink woofer in there, just not this model). Putting in a 16" overhead video screen with a seperate detached DVD player in the center console, with wireless headphones, IR remote control, and the sound will play through the stock stereo through a hidden integration unit that will also allow the owners to use their Bluetooth's on their iPhones....just like they would be able to as if it were stock!
It's also good to know that I can fit a full sized SUV and the beater into the shop!
Cheers
Did a little 'crunch time' install for a client today, just in time for their family trip for Christmas.
After a few attempts and ordering correct products I was able to perform the install.
Boss 10.4" Overhead Video Monitor with interchangable 'skins' to match interior and full 360 degree swivel, Boss detached DVD player with Aux input as well as USB and SD card inputs. Installed the DVD player into the stock lower pocket on the Suburban's center console, along with the FM Modulator's switch and IR Repeater.......turned out pretty trick.
Cheers
All the Memphis Car Audio products arrived today...now we're just waiting on the Pioneer Deck to come in.....i'll start on the custom center console soon
