Had a client with a 2009 Dodge Ram come in wanting a serious HID Upgrade.
Recieved Digital Low/High Beam 6000k HIDs as well as some Digital 6000k Foglights.
The trick with this one was the Dodge's CAN-BUS system. In the past you've usually had to bypass the headlight circuit and splice the system into the Parking Light circuit...it worked, but sucked.
Not now....the specially made harness solved all these issues and everything works as it should.
He also had his driver side fog lamp recieve a HUGE rock chip that damaged the housing...so I replace that as well.
Bright Bright Bright!!
Project Caliberight came back for even MORE HID lighting.
Wanted his fogs to get in on the action.
Installed an 8000k HID kit to offset all the white he's got up top.
Since they are in fog lights, which have small reflector bowls, the blue barely comes out and sets this Caliber off at night.
Now he's got Low beam, High beam and fog beam HIDs....watch out if you see this thing at night....he'll see you, you might be blinded!!! (he's got projectors, so he's not going to blind you that bad)
Knocked this one out just in time to return to customer.
Thing looks sick at night....guess even the cops downtown commented on it :) :)
Morimoto Bi-Xenon Projectors
Morimoto 8000k HID bulbs
Morimoto 35ive watt Ballasts
Custom (re-wired) bi-xenon HID wire harness
Gatlin Gun v2.0 Shrouds (left chrome)
Stock headlight housings painted gloss black
90mm CCFL halo lighting behind gatlin shrouds
Custom bypassed DRL system for the Dodge Caliber's CAN-BUS electrical system
On-Off lighted switch inside for the Halo Lights
140 Red LED lights throught the interior
Under Front Driver and Passenger feet
Under Rear Driver and Passenger feet
Custom mounted behind Custom brackets in the rear for cargo lighting
On-Off lighted switch inside for these LEDs
Lots of lights, lots of troubleshooting, lots of waiting on stuff to dry.....not alot of time!!
Cheers!
Needed to run to the shop really quick durning lunch to get the last of the 'long ass time to bond' material setup. Problem with doing these things on a quick deadline is that you never have enough time to let things setup properly.
So when I get back tonight, we'll be full steam ahead.
Not really sure on the name yet, but I'll work.
Got a 2007 Dodge Caliber that is getting some serious lighting upgrades.
Owner originally purchased some eBay headlights and as 90% of them do, they started leaking. We agreed that projector retrofitting was the best thing to do.
Also, we'll be doing a few (haha) lights on the interior.
So here we go:
Mini H1 Bi-Xenon Projectors
Morimoto 35ive watt HID bulbs and ballasts
Gatlin Gun v2.0 Shrouds with Halo's behind them
Audi-inspired LED lighting
Amber 30 LED park/turn signal bulbs
150 LEDs inside throughout the floor and cabin (red)
The only snag so far is that the Dodge electrical system is CAN-BUS....which basically means "No, you can't put anything aftermarket on here, because we're an awesome technological company". So the last picture if of my 3 failed attempts at bypassing this.....on to the next one I guess!
Cheers!!
Got a 1996 Dodge Ram Van, putting in a 15" dropdown overhead video screen and dvd player. Kept the stock cassette player, so I wired in an iSimple FM Modulator....everything sounded great and looked very good.
Cheers
Previous Client called, was moving down to Arizona and needed some tunes in his van!
Deck install with new speakers...all used equipment but everything worked perfectly, sounded good and customer was more than happy. I forgot to snap pics of speakers installed, but I got a pic of the old equipment
Cheers!
