Had a customer come in with a Crown Victoria and a Pioneer AVIC-903BT.
Solid little unit, and he plans to use it to it's full potential.
He has an iPod with a stash of music and videos....we the aux inputs will be on most of the time.

These cars aren't meant to have DDin units installed in them, but after a little Dremel action, she fit just fine.
Got the factory DVD viewing disabled, so he can watch his DVDs, iPod video and enter navigation changes while on the move.  After some troubleshooting, we figured out that he would need the Pioneer suggested ipod cable so he can watch videos from his iPod....other than that, simple install.

Had a customer come in with an 83 Mustang Foxbody.
Basic stock turn knob radio....my favorite!

This wasn't too bad...just had to get the radio out of the dash....worse shaft radio one yet.
It's like the manufacturer puts in the radio first...then builds the car.  In order to get this bad boy out you have to dismantle the enture center console, then start undoing the dash.....79.5 screws and bolts later, you're able to strong arm that radio outta there.

The other issue with this car is that it's got a common ground speaker system...which is usually fun.  This one was easy, sometimes they can be a realy pain.

Made a simple trim piece to match the existing trim piece and we're good to go now.

Cheers!

Past customer wanted to upgrade his lighting situation.  He came to the right shop.

Existing provisions for the Ford were not present, so (since the bumper was dented anyways) we replaced it with an upgraded bumper with Foglight holes.

Along with those, we added HID lighting in the fog lights as well as the headlights...so now he has Fogs, with HIDs, and his Hi/Low beams are also HIDs......PLEEENTY of lighting

Since the fog lights weren't there from stock, I had to make a custom wire harness to power the additional lights, and I put an LED rocker (green) switch below the stock headlight switch to match the interior lighting.  This way he have toggle on/off his fogs whenever he wants, and the highs won't shut them off, and he can drive solo with them on by themselves...pretty nifty.
Cheers

Had an 2005 Ford F-150 in today....will be doing alot of work to this truck over the next year...but first thing's first.....Nerf Bar side steps!

Went on pretty easy (alot easier than the hide-away Amp Research steps)

Cheers!

Busted out a quick install last night for a client.  Pretty cool, as this was probably the first 'Pawn Shop' install I've done where it wasn't JUNK product.  Owner picked up an Alpine M5D M500 amp, had all digital controls with temperature, voltage and amperage displays....pretty neat.
Quick and dirty install, sounded pretty damn good, and customer was happy.

Cheers

Got the aftermarket wiring harness figured out...finally.  Ford makes a GT foglight kit so that you can replace the stock headlight switch with one that has a built in Fog Light option (for those that didn't come with them....this Mustang) and I was having some issues figuring it out.....after a few hours I got it.....gotta love electronics!!!!

Cheers

Got started on Project Stang tonight.
Also, got my new Droid X phone.....so I kind of went photo crazy..but that's more for you guys to look at.....so ya!

Had to reloacte the horn, as it just wasn't going to happen where it was at.
Flushed in the foglights behind the billet grill.
Now I'm troubleshooting the harness the owner provided.  It's supposed to function like there were foglights originally installed (there were none)...but it's not.

Next I'll be installing some R8-inspired LED strips in the grill somewhere (waiting comments from owner)

Also...I broke my right angle chuck for my drill gun.....major bummer...plus I JUST got that bit extension the other day...now there is a piece of bit stuck in there and it's not coming out.....2 birds one stone I guess!!

Cheers!!

Got the front and side lights for the Accord that I did a projector retrofit in the other week.  Now we're getting rid of the amber and chrome, murdering everything out, and replacing all the halogen bulbs with LEDs...should be pretty sweet!!

Still chuggin' away at the center console for the BrewHaul....got it all sealed up, now just working on getting it ready for paint!!

Should be getting Project Stang back in this week.  Going to be flush mounting some killer LED foglights and running some new side emitting LEDs in the grill!!

Cheers
