Got some free time to finish the door pods up.  Owner has been rocking them for a few weeks, and I've been waiting on decals for the plexi.  Just a few more days and this car will represent Trax Customs!

Took the door apart, trimmmed some plastic, wired up the LED strips and cleaned the glass.  Also, has some neons laying around, so I rewired the trunk lights with them.....might switch those to LED strips as well....we'll see.

Cheers

I say complete, because Kip (owner) is here for a month, and I've put off some things to get his feedback, and will finish everything up before he goes back to New York.

So here are some final shots....for now!!

Cut the 1/4" and 3/4" plexi glass tonight....makes me want to have an Almond Joy

Also, got the front radar reciever and 2 front jammers installed and snaked back to the control module!

Also, cut the arm rest divider out, so you can see the subwoofer magnet through the rear seats!

Stayed up late finishing up the Radar installation.  Got the front main radar mounted, as well as the two laser jammers, routed all wires carefully through engine bay and into the cabin.
Plugged the seat's airbag back in, turn it on and had a smile when everything worked right and responded correctly.  That radar is sick.

Also, cut out plexi windows for the subbox and door pods, as well as finished up the tweeter pods and final coat on the subwoofer box.

That being said, it's INSTALL night tonight.  Everything goes in and is fired up.   Carpeting everything and going through last minute install stuff.

Expect alot of pics tonight!

So I guess all I needed to do was actually open the door to the Evo last night to get some ideas rolling again.  I've been so busy lately that I haven't even had time to think about Project Evo....just see it everyday I head off to work...that's about it.  So last night, I poked my head inside the cabin for about 30 seconds and BOOM.....I already had ideas that needed to go on paper and other ideas to work out in my mind.  Custom fiberglass door pods; front and back, with backlit LED/Plexi windows showing off brands and logos.  That's about as far as I got, but the trunk is a whole other monster.  I know what needs to be done, just need to figure out where to put everything...small trunk, too many stock access panels, and not enough room to put everything....we'll figure it out.  Stay tuned for more updates!
