Been chuggin' away at other projects, but this one is coming along. Just a few more things to do then I can seal these up and ship them out.

This custom made board will be wired into a Plug n Play custom bulb socket that will....well....plug into the stock bulb holder and 'play' nicely with the electrical system.

This time around we are doing custom foglight projectors with LED signal lights...as well as LED side marker lights.

As usual, these will all be 100% completely plug-n-play, so the owner can simply unbolt stock and bolt these right back in, with no wiring modification needed.

First thing was first...had to get the foglights apart.....so after some dremel action they are apart.  Next was to see if I could fit that Blazer projector in there....and it's almost like it was made for this application....after an hour of detailed dremel work that is.  The projector fits in JUST barely.

Next will be to mount them and align them...which will be difficult as my bumper is different and the customer has a stock bumper....so I have to make do with what I have.

Finally got some spare time for these.....templates made and everything is secure....just need the customer's good words then I can button this side up and start on the other side.

I with the budget on this build would have allowed me to mold and paint the taillights...but we're just doing a basic plug-n-play upgrade....so far so good

Got all the products in for these special taillights.  103 LEDs in all....that should be bright enough......after this, I have another set for a Saturn Sky to do....then most likely more once these hit the interwebs!!

Got a quick video together for the client to take a look at before I order parts.
LEDs are just sitting in the housings...so aiming is a bit off...anyways

Sequence in video is:
Lights Off
Lights On
Lights Off - Brake On
Lights On - Brake On

Cheers!

Finally getting back to these bad boys after nearly 6 months!

Tooks some random shots for the owner to see what he thinks...so i'll post them here as well.

Cheers

Finally got some free time, so I decided to open up the taillights on Project One-Off Solsti.  Only too about an hour to get them open; alot more time consuming than opening headlights, but this way it won't melt the plastic on the taillights, since they are easily meltable.  Placed the LED board I had in mind, into the assembly and they were much brighter than expected, but since they didn't reflect off the stock taillights assembly, the stock bulb is brighter ONLY where it counts: right center in the middle, where it was designed.  Back to the drawing board as far as how to lay out a new LED board and integrate the PWM into it.  Keep checking back for updates.

Nothing to really 'show' you on this one. Installing some speakers in a Pontiac G6 tonight.  Finished up installing the home theater setup in the new house.  Custom rear speaker ceiling mount in-walls installed.  Binding posts installed behind the TV setup so the wiring looks clean.  Exterior speakers mounted and wired up for a professional look.....that's what we do here at Trax Customs.
Still going on the fiberglass door pods, need to find time to do them.
Also, Project One-Off Solsti's taillights are still sitting in the shop, just need to get some more time to do these, as these are going to look great once we're done.
