So here are some final shots....for now!!
I say complete, because Kip (owner) is here for a month, and I've put off some things to get his feedback, and will finish everything up before he goes back to New York. So here are some final shots....for now!! Add Comment Cut the 1/4" and 3/4" plexi glass tonight....makes me want to have an Almond Joy Also, got the front radar reciever and 2 front jammers installed and snaked back to the control module! Also, cut the arm rest divider out, so you can see the subwoofer magnet through the rear seats! Stayed up late finishing up the Radar installation. Got the front main radar mounted, as well as the two laser jammers, routed all wires carefully through engine bay and into the cabin. Plugged the seat's airbag back in, turn it on and had a smile when everything worked right and responded correctly. That radar is sick. Also, cut out plexi windows for the subbox and door pods, as well as finished up the tweeter pods and final coat on the subwoofer box. That being said, it's INSTALL night tonight. Everything goes in and is fired up. Carpeting everything and going through last minute install stuff. Expect alot of pics tonight! Well.....got alot done today....now all that needs to be done is to wire up the 3 radar detector jammers and shifters, mount all the other components of the radar system, mount the doors, finish the subbox and finish the rear boot install...then cut plexi.....then wire everything up....ugh!!! Here we go! Cheers! Today, for the first time, was my first actual full day I was out in the shop.....kind of crazy to think of it like that, but that's why it's been taking forever.....when you work a full 40 at the main gig, then come home and get motivated to go out in the shop...you only have 3-4 hours of actual work a night.....doesn't amount to much. So anyways...here we go! Got the subbox in with the beautry panels, and they go in and out without a problem....so I'm not going to do an access panel for the windshield fluid or battery, since it will only take one screw and that will all come out. Also, put a layer of body filler on the subbox and will attack that tomorrow! Installed the backup camera today, as well as the rear raday jammer, so we're good back there. Got the backup camera's module all wired up and hidden away, made sure to leave the box somewhere you can get to, just in case. Also installed the antennas for the GPS on the Alpine DVD player as well as the Escort 9500ci radar detector. First photo shows you how I get motivated.....only 4 days left :S :S :S Cheers! The last of the products for round 1 of Project Evo arrived today. Escorts 9500 ci This thing is bad...
