Simple little install...did it on-site at the customer house.

Had a customer that needed a deck installed, as well as the steering wheel controls integrated into the new unit. Simple little install...did it on-site at the customer house. Cheers Add Comment Started Saturday morning out with a quick install. Put an Alpine CD player in with an Alpine Power Pack. These little power packs are kind of nice. They are a hide-away unit that wires directly in-line with the headunit, so no need to add additional power wires and what not.....actually hid nicely under the aftermarket Alpine...and gave it a definite boost in highs and mids. Worth the upgrade. Lifted Sierra came back to button up some additional add-ons. Added steering wheel controls and navigation to the Clarion we put in last week. Steering wheel controls are a must if they are existing and the navigation will aid the owner when he gets down to Texas. Also replaced all the stock lights that were yellow with blue LEDs....turned out great...once again....too bright outside to get good photos. Cheers Got to Project Liberty today. 2003 Jeep Liberty Pioneer Deck Install with Steering wheel controls retained and Bluetooth Arc Audio XXD 5 channel amplifier Infinity 6.5" Component Speakers up front Arc Audio 6.5" XXD Coaxial Speakers in the rear Arch Audio 10" XXD Subwoofer in a sealed carpeted box 4 gauge amp kit to make sure everything has enough power Jeep sounded good once everything was tuned and the customers left with a smile on their faces...so a success! Cheers! Busy weekend. Troubleshot Project Saab, attempted to add amps and what not, but when the signal out of a stock headunit is fried, you simply cannot do this (note taken). Next step? Adding a new headunit with built in iPod and Aux controls, as well as integrating in the stock steering wheel controls. This should be a fun one, seeing as how they don't make anything for this vehicle. Trax Customs - Pioneering the way of car audio and visual installations! |
