Got the subs in tonight....so might as well.

Threw them all in and the truck is now complete....for now.

Digital Designs CM1 1000 watt mono block amp
Custom made rhino lined subbox to fit under rear seat

Hit it hard on Friday night and haven't stopped until now (Sunday night)
Had some time to get some other projects started and did some random mini installs while I was at it...all it all, I'm just waiting on paint on the corners and taillights....and the subwoofer amp.....then we're donezo!!!!

Got the speakers all installed upfront and 4 channel amp temporarily hooked up and gave it a listen.   Un-tuned and all the settings untouched..this system already sounds crazy good....highs are perfect and the midbass is very impressive!!!!  All that hardwork on the sound deadening was worth it...we'll see what happens when we add 2400 watts to two subwoofers.....which, by the way, have a home now.....got the subwoofer box smoothed out and texture coated.....thing is a BEAST.....you want SPL out of a daily, while having good tunes when it's not hitting hard....gotta build the box as big as you can.....Box was a bit bigger than I wanted...but to get it tuned right, had to go this route.........gonna slam!

Got the headlights sealed up and ready for a final tweak/leveling once the corners get smoked.

Got the LEDs wired up front on a switch and other than that....long weekend...but we're about 95% done....waiting on the Mailman now (not Karl Malone).

Cheers

Got the shrouds painted to match the existing color scheme of the car...I think they look sick...and will look damn good on the car!  Just need to seal the sides and we'll be good to go.

Got the majority of the stock pieces and panels back into the car...enough so that I could pull all three cars in..woot!  I must say that with the back seats all in and the door jams covered...this things is pretty damned air tight....when you close a door and you're in the car, you can definitely tell it's sealed.....so all the sound dampening was worth it!!  We'll see what happens when we give 2500 watts to two ported MOJO woofers!!!

Speaker of that, I found a pic of the box when it was being constructed....but somehow the camera put a 'ripple' effect on it....so ya...kind of like a sneak peek shot.....I like it, so I left it!

Cheers

Well, it was back to only 4 hours of work able to perform so here is what I got done:

Shaped the subbox, filled the pinholes on it and shot 3 coats of textured paint on it.
One final coat of textured paint on the door pods, they are ready to be installed.
Smoothed out the tweeter cups, filled the pinholes, now just need to sand them down and shoot them.
Installed the Bluetooth mic, Radar Display, Radar LED, Radar Control Module and the USB update HUB.

Ready for tomorrow

Well.....got alot done today....now all that needs to be done is to wire up the 3 radar detector jammers and shifters, mount all the other components of the radar system, mount the doors, finish the subbox and finish the rear boot install...then cut plexi.....then wire everything up....ugh!!!

Here we go!

Cheers!

The Dremel and I were best friend tonight...cutting and sanding, until we could almost not see the Evo....soo much dust!

Trimmed the sub box, added one little layer on the outer tim piece.

Trimmed the door pods, and layed down a first coat of Rage Extreme......might I say, for those of you that know, and those that dont......Rage Extreme is by for WORTH every extra penny.......it's self leveling body filler.....no pin-holes, no nothing...just an amazing finish, and the green stage!!   Rediculous!! After that...got my Cheese Grater on and had a good ol' time!

Cheers!
