How do you make an already good looking car even more good lookingish? You throw Multi-Color Halos on it....duh!
How do you make sure your teenage son has a few brushes with law enforcement to ensure future obedience with them? You get him a wireless Multi-Color SmartPhone controller that enables him to wig-wag controls over Reds and Blues.....this outta be fun!
Clients brought in their son's Dodge Challenger for a surprise birthday present.....but that seemed easier than it actually was. They had purchased him a SINGLE halo kit for his car for Christmas and never got it installed. Once they brought me the car and kit, I immediately saw the problem. Some online site (rhymes with Shamazon) sold them the completely wrong kit and only 1/2 of it....at an astronomical price!!
I really didn't want to install 1/2 a kit and have them leaving 'whelmed'.....so we upgraded.
I ordered them the Full Quad halo kit and one that's made for this specific headlight.
Quad RGBW Challenger Specific Halos from LED Concepts
RGBW Lightbox Smartphone Controller from Oznium
The correct kit fits MUCH better and allows for a FULL headlight look when ON.
I DID install the smaller single halo kit, but as a rear-facing Demon Eye. This gives the owner 2 options.....he can either leave it and have the inner sections be super bright or he can put the demon eyes on a separate controller/switch and have them isolated.
The halos I got them were RGBWs, which means he can run the Whites while driving and have them be perfectly legal. The difference between RGB White and RGBW white is the latter has a separate LED chip that is dedicated to only white...so it's the purest white, and not blue-ish like RGB produces.
Another item I brought up was "How will your son know if his lights are on and annoying traffic?"
Solution.......Interior acknowledgment lighting.
I installed dual 12" RGB strips under the front seats so the interior will be filled with ambient light when the front headlights are doing their thing....but also as an indication as to what the headlights are doing, from the driver seat.
