I'll post more when they start showing up across the interwebs....but here are some from the owner...
Haven't had nearly any time to work on this thing....with the Deadmau5 project eating up all of it and SEMA coming up...it's going slow.
But, after SEMA...it's all RZR until the audio side of it is done.
Got the amp rack all fab'd up and ready to go.
Ran power wires and secured everything in the battery compartment.
I've started the fiberglass process on the pods and sub box, but my camera is being weird...so I'll post those after SEMA
Got the helmet back after a few days.....owner wasn't able to get as much body work done as we would have liked...but with the crazy deadline ahead, he had to push forward and paint it. He did paint it with Plasti-Dip, so it can all peel off and some serious body work can be done before the next closest Deadmau5 concert.
So my task was to mount all the lenses, lights, helmet and wire everything.
Mounted the eyes first and secured the EL panels behind them.
Then test fitted the hard hat into place before a combo of glue, fiberglass resin and expanding foam were applied.
Then I secured the face plate and fabricated a temporary mount for the mouth lights.
After all of this, everything needed wired up and secured. There were 3 main battery packs that needed mounted, as well as another smaller pack for the EL wire.
I got everything wired up and gave it back to the owner....he was going to install the EL Wire.
This project was a pretty good experience.....can't wait to finish it up down the road and make it SHINE!!!
Introducing Project tRZRax......get it (Trax and RZR put together)(ok...I'm done)#FacePalm
After a few months of dealing with issues that needed to be fixed, I FINALLY have this badboy in my shop.

So, stage 1 of this build is obviously disassembly; which was very difficult tonight, as I had about 4 appointments all lined up at the EXACT same time.
So I got all of this done in an hour...and I feel comfortable moving forward with preliminary fiberglass fabrication.
Customer brought in his Honda Odyssey for some sound deadening.
Not for an uber loud sound system....simply to cover up what Honda couldn't.
We started with a bulk pack of Dynamat that he had previously purchased....once the interior is back in (customer removed himself) we'll see what that does, and add more as necessary.
This customer will be back for sure (sound upgrades, deadener, etc)
Ok......so this one was an interesting one.
Had a past client come in with an idea...just needed help putting it into physical being.
He wants to be Deadmau5 for Halloween. Only problem is, without spending a bunch of money online, you can't find these helmets just laying around.
I gave him my recommendations (which were make the damn thing sturdy enough to last for many parties down the road) and we went into action.
Since SEMA was coming up, and I had another big project coming in (see later pics), I could only take it so far....and was rushed to get it to the stage it was when it left the shop.
Owner is going to do the body work and another painter is going to finish the helment.
Then....if time permits....the helmet will be back here and I'll assist with the wiring and completion of the helmet.
So far, i'm happy with what I've done in only a few short (working) hours.
Well...ya....these are the only ones I know of in existence....but I can't prove that.
So ya....these will be going on soon....ish
Should be sittin' frame once I'm done
Local client that wanted to add bluetooth to his Nissan Spectra5.
Parrot makes a great unit to add to his stock radio that will pair with his iPhone flawlessly.
With this module installed, he can no make/receive calls handsfree, speech to text or email, as well as Auxiliary/USB/iPod/iPhone wired inputs. All controlled from a wireless controller on his steering wheel.
Quality of sound out of this thing was very good.
With the display wired right where you're looking at the gauges, it's easy to see what's going on.
Wired the aux inputs down low so they are out of sight.
Dual mic was placed in the gauge cluster for head-tiltless ease.
Had a client bring in a custom mocked up dash piece that WAS his central air vent.
He needed a place to put his boost gauge and wide-band display.
No central air vent you say? Because......racecar! :)
I modified his mounting method a bit so that it would be enclosed and look as normal as possibly; which was difficult, because the wide-band was a long shape.
Once it was all molded and ready to go, I texture coated it to match the existing texture of the interior.
He was stoked to have this in his car finally.
Had a client bring in his 2007 Chevy Tahoe and wanted some used equipment he purchased installed.
Got him a PAC Audio Add-an-Amp harness with a Sound Quest 4 ga wiring kit so that in the future, he can easily swap product and always have a good base to start from.
Put the Kenwood amp under the middle seats, sunk into the false floor that was there.
Wired the MTX subs with plenty of wire to spare for moving it around.
Had a returning client come in with his Nissan 300ZX.
Wants to add a Double Din DVD player to his car, but the dash is for two Single Din units.
No worries.......some plastic, some fusor, some body filler and some elbow grease and you get a big enough hole to mount one.
He's preoccupied with another build that you'll more than likely see on here soon, so final mounted shots won't happen until he's done with that.
