He hasn't had the bike very long but wanted to get a sleeker look and become more visible at night.....definitely achieved that!
First, I removed the ugly bar-mount mirrors.....we opted for ones with turn signals in them...but realized that they wouldn't fit because his bike was "special".....so we went with a single grip-mount style...muuuch more low-profile!
Then I removed the front ugly turn signals and replaced them with fork-wrap style LED Switchbacks....for a much more modern and sleeker look...they are plenty bright and look factory.
Then I replaced his aftermarket LED strip that was already on the back.
Basically his old strip was a full smoked strip with only red leds...and half of them were either left/right turn signals as well.
He wanted a more integrated and attention grabbing look.....so we went with a dual color option.
Now he's got Running/Brake lights via RED center LEDs and then Left/Right AMBER leds for turning....pretty slick setup and it looks just like his old strip.
Moving on to the fun stuff, i installed a 10-piece RGB Multi-color underglow kit on this thing. Bikes are fun.....because there is no room for anything...so you have to get creative!
This kit is controlled via a wireless remote OR your smartphone...which is pretty cool.
The best feature, in my opinion, is that when you hit your brakes, the kit interrupts what it was doing, hyper flashes RED 4 times and then stays on solid until you release the brakes!
Talk about attention grabbing! Everyone should see him now!
I also cut a massive hole in his fender and accented his existing Texas emblem...but now it lights up with the underglow kit....pretty dope small accent mod!
