Client brought us this 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 for a bit of an upgrade.
Wanting to stuff some larger wheels and tires under it while maintaining a high quality ride, we upgraded the suspension as such:

We installed Rough Country's 3.5" lift kit and swapped out the shocks with Fox 2.0s to provide the ride the client wanted.

We were then able to squeeze in some 20"x9" SOTA Anthrikote Wheels wrapped with 34" Nitto Ridge Grappler tires.

As you can tell by the photos....this changed the look of the truck just enough so it'll get noticed while on or off the road!

Taco gets a front end make-over

Customer brought us his Toyota Tacoma for a front-end update.
He purchased some smoked headlights and foglights and a new grill.
Pretty straight forward upgrade....headlights bolt in with no issues...just needed to make sure they were aligned properly as to not blind oncoming drivers.
Fog lights....same thing....simply swap out the factory ones and align them correctly as well.
The gill was a bit more work to get to fit...but with a dremel and some patience, it looks like it belongs from factory.

Busted out another set of custom GMC Sierra Projector Headlights for a local dealership here in town.
The last set sold an already tricked out truck as soon as the client saw what the headlights could do....so when they showed another potential client what they could do, he opted to have an identical set built.

So we went with ALL black internals again (Triple Smoked Lenses with Gloss Black Paint)
Then we upgraded the factory Turn Signal bulb with a Switchback LED as well as junked the factory (White Only) DRL LED Boards and swapped in some Switchback LED Boards.
Then to give it that fancy-pants look, threw in some RGBWtf Rainbow Unicorn Triple Demon Eye accents.

These went on the truck and then it shipped out down to Texas.

Lifted Sierra with 800w of bass

Return customer of ours (we installed the lift, wheels and tires) brought in his GMC Sierra truck for a subsonic enhancement!
He got to ride in our other shop truck and loved the sound that these new sub/amp combos put out and needed it for his truck.

These are very nice packages and fit perfectly in trucks!
They are designed to contour to the trucks floor and underseat area so you get full use of the seats and won't take up any leg room. This particular design has a 'bump-out' in the woofer location so they can install their regular woofer instead of the shallow mount design.....and it still doesn't take up any leg room......we tested it :-D

I'm starting to love the installation process of these....I no longer need to remove the rear seat to install a sub-stage which cuts down about an hour of time....which is good....and everyone that hears these beasts say it's just the right amount of clean bass! You really can't go wrong with 800w of pure bass performance out of a 12" subwoofer in a tightly sealed bedlinered ported box!

Return client brought in his New GMC Sierra Denali for an audio upgrade.
He listened to one of our demo trucks and was sold on the clean/clear bass output that these pre-packaged systems are putting out and wanted it for his truck.

Again...install on these is pretty straight forward and makes it nice that there is not amp to hide......tricky part on these is getting the wiring lengths just right to tuck nicely inside the box without crimping any of the wires upon final installation....but other than that, these sure are the bee's knees!!

Minnesota Silverado goes full LED

Client sent me his Chevy Silverado headlights for a slight make-over.
He'd previously purchased some Klearz sidemarker lenses to get rid of the Amber lenses....and then I upgraded the rest of the lights. I replaced everything halogen with LEDs.....we're talking Low Beam, High Beam, Switchback Turn Signals, Fog Light Beam, Brake Lights, Cargo Lights and all Interior Lights....I shipped him a whole gang of LEDs from the dudes over at Diode Dynamics.

For the headlights....something as simple as removing the Amber lenses can make the headlights look dramatically different.....it's crazy!
When you turn on the Highs, Lows and Running lights....ALL of the Profile LED products truly shine! They look great together!

Nissan Titan with VisionX Light Bar

Customer brought in his brand new 2018 Nissan Titan for a bit of a lighting upgrade.
He'd previously purchased this VisionX 20" lighting bar and wanted it in the center lower grill area.
Problem was it's not the standard width of that opening.....so a custom bracket was needed in order to center it up and make sure it was sturdy.
After a few slight revisions, I was able to retain a nice look while modifying as little of the factory grill as possible.
Customer also provided a Nissan specific switch that fits nicely in the factory switch panel.....few wires integrated later and the switch works as if it came like that from the factory!

Sierra Headlights get the extra touch

Oh Hey...look! Some GMC Sierra headlights....haven't done a set of these yet :-)

Customer sent in his lights to get the Trax touch.....with his provided Klearz lenses and Profile Halos.

While we don't normally like halos (they typically take away from the look of the headlights when everything is OFF)....we opted to do these because they match the White lenses from Klearz.

We did our Morimoto D2S projector upgrade with CBD adapters, 35w bulbs and hylux ballasts....but this time we did a custom GMC lens etch to match the grill of the truck....subtle touches like this can make/break the build.

We also upgraded the boards with Diode Dynamics switchbacks......trusted and true...best way to achieve a unique look and have other Sierra owners asking where he got the lights simply by turning on his turn signals...

Then we did our RGBWtf Rainbow Unicorn upgrade with the Triple Demon Eye accent lights.

The halos are a different style of LEDs so they are on their own separate controller...but can be the same solid colors as the Demon Eyes...so they can work in conjunction or fully separate. They are RGBWA...so they do multi color, White AND Amber for turn signals.

Then we painted all the internals Gloss Black and swapped the lenses for the Klearz white frosted look.

Gnarly Raptor Gets Even Gnarlier

Past client and good friend waited EVER so patiently for his headlights to be built for his already gnarly Ford Raptor.
The main issue on these lights is that he actually uses his Raptor for what it's made for......I've received multiple videos/pictures of this Raptor airborne......so I needed to purpose build these lights with a few prerequisites:
Needs more output during city night driving
Needs to compliment what's already done to the truck without going overboard
Needs Strobe Chase Lights integrated in
Needs to handle 100+ mph gnar gnar "hold my beer, we're gon' send it" type of driving

Easy peasy!
So, at the time when I originally started this build, I asked my guys what the most durable projector setup is, and without hesitation they recommended the 'then' Brand New Morimoto MLED projectors.....since they are solid state and fully self contained, these guys should be able to withstand most anything the owner can throw at it! I'm excited to start using LED technology as it should be more reliable than HID....but I've been waiting for this technology to catch up to the actual usable output that HID/Projectors offer....with the MLED it seems to be there.....

I also integrated in quad Sirenet Hyper Strobe Modules (pure white 12 LED). They are activated off of one of his quadrillion switches he has installed inside (ok....it's off the factor upfitter switch....but he's got like 20 switches in this beast). They strobes are linked but the uppers and lowers both strobe at a different signal/pattern....
Now you may be asking "why does he need strobes".....well...when out doing what Raptors do, it gets dusty...and they need chase lights to alert other off-roaders of their presence....and what better way to cut through the dust than some epileptic seizure-inducing hyper bright strobe lights? I mean....he's got some super higher powered LED bars in the rear for the unfortunate vehicles behind him that do the same thing!

That being said....I've supplied this truck with PLENTY (as you can tell) LED Light pods in the past....just never posted anything about it since the owner was the one who fabricated all the mounts and wired everything up....He's got PLENTY of light on this truck....these headlights just help finish it off a bit more!

Lifted Trax Truck finally gets some bumps

FINALLY got time (and the product) to install our newest brand we're selling.
We picked these guys up for their Wake Board Tower Speaker line and all the cool products for the powersports industry....but they also had some impressive truck subwoofer/box offerings....so I picked one up for my demo truck and this setup is in Ryan's truck.

These are nice because they don't take up ALL of the underseat area, but they are perfectly designed to throw down some hammering bass. Also, since the amp is built into the box, it's a nice show piece as well and installation is a bit quicker than normal.
With the box being bedlined, it'll withstand anything you can throw at it.

They also offer 2 different styles of amps for these.....this particular one is an 800w RMS plate amp; but the other style is a 100x2 + 400x1...so you could power a set of front speakers as well.....so the flexibility there is handy.

If you've been thinking about adding some bass to your truck, come listen to this badboy...it might help make the decision for you!

Platinum Tundra gets some boom boom

Good buddy of ours recently purchased this Toyota Tundra Platinum and immediately noticed it needed a stereo upgrade.
Toyota's massive weak spot has always been the audio system (in my eyes).
The problem was, is they thought they'd try to re-engineer the audio system from the ground up and now they've messed everything up for the aftermarket world.

Basically....you've got a system that's ALL or Nothing.....you either replace EVERYTHING in there or do what you can to patch some audible holes.

The subwoofer stage is one of the things you can modify....but not easily.
As you can see, Toyota was generous enough to provide us with a subwoofer behind the rear seats that one might call.....ample......while most would call it a waste of space and $15 worth of material that the dealership would up-charge you $1000 for.

So I yanked that baby speaker out and threw in our new line of sub/amp/box combos and BOOM....you've got bass!

The main problem with this system is that there just needs to be more......more of everything.
Listening to the system, the upgraded subwoofer definitely is heard/felt...but at MAX volume, it feels like you're only at 8....instead of 11.........
This is where Toyota dropped the ball.
This is a brand new 2018 Tundra....and it's audibly made for the elderly that listens to NPR at low volumes.
Next up? Unfortunately.....a WHOLE product gut/removal/replacement....
The problem with these trucks is that the headunit powers the front speakers and then sends a signal to an amp that powers the rear speakers and subwoofer....so you can't just replace or upgrade 1 part...you have to do the whole setup.....which sucks...but it's what has to happen.

Black on White will always look good

Wrapped up another quick set of GMC Sierra headlights....these were more Function Over Form....but with a little bit of visual upgrades.

First off, while these Sierra headlights are $1200 EACH from the dealership...the internals are pretty much junk. The factory 25w HID projectors are better than what most people are used to....but for actual on-road use, they don't put out a whole lot of light.
So I junked those and swapped in some Morimoto D2S Projectors with 35w D2S Bulbs and Hylux 35w ballasts....this will provide a MUCH cleaner, wider and further output over the stock unit.

Then I upgraded the factory DRL boards, as usual. Normally these are just White....but to make them brighter and cooler, I upgraded the boards to the Diode Dynamic switchback boards...so now they are WHITE for running/DRLs and then AMBER for turn signals.
Also upgraded was the factory turn signal bulb....which is not a switchback bulb as well....so everything internally is either WHITE or AMBER to match each other.

The internal shroud was painted Gloss Black and all three lenses were replaced with White Frosted replacements from Klearz.

Dodge Ram gets a bit of a makeover

So this build was interesting.
Client called and wanted to hook up his wife's truck...but didn't really know how or what she wanted....they knew they just wanted to change the look of it and gave me free reign to do my thing.

I had an idea to make this somewhat quick and help them out.
So I called my buddy that I built his SEMA lights for him last year and asked if he still had his previous headlights that someone else modded for the same truck a few years ago.....this way I could get a set of 2013+ headlights with projectors already and then modify them to match this truck.

That was a great plan until I actually opened them up.
Not sure who built these headlights....but they didn't really know what they were doing.....er....at least the correct way to do things.
They cut out the lens and in the process completely messed up the outer channels.
Moving on to the insides...they painted over the entire LED DRL section so there was no chrome to actually reflect the LEDs....they basically painted everything inside WHITE.....which was partially ok because it matches this customers truck....but I wanted to do a two-tone look with some black.
After chemically striping what I needed to...about 10 times...I was able to throw down some textured black paint to clean up the mess that was left over and turn the lights into something unique looking to match the truck.
Then I upgraded the factory DRL LEDs to Diode Dynamics RGBWA boards...so this gives here the unique look of WHITE running lights (whereas the factory lights are all Amber) and then the option of changing the color to whatever you she may want.....and then when turn signals are activated, they'll switch to AMBER and bypass everything.....spiffy!
I then did my signature Air-Vent Indication LED inside the truck so she'll know what color she's on when she's got the colors changing.
I also upgraded the headlights to the Profile LED bulbs...which I normally do not like LED plug-n-play bulbs...but with proper adjustment in these factory projectors.....the output is actually VERY decent....no visible dark spots and the instant-on is greatly appreciated!

Moving onto the rear of the truck....I had my good buddy smoke the taillights and 3rd brake light to match the white/black theme of the truck better.

Next up was the Foglights.....these had JUST came out a month or so prior to this build so they were of course on back order....but the truck WILL be getting Morimoto LED Housings to replace the factory chrome housings....then the final piece of the puzzle will be the chrome bumper....we'll be wrapping or painting that...but color and scheme is yet to be determined.....I'll update this post when we figure that out and when the customer comes back in to get her new fogs installed

This was a fun little project.
Client brought in his brand new 2018 Ford F150 to get some custom headlights made and an overall exterior lighting upgrade!

He mentioned he's a big Cowboys fan, since he's from Texas and wanted to bring that into the mix.
He told me to take free-reign on the design aspect of the truck and that's what I did.

Delete all the chrome and go full Two-Tone...Blue and Black!

Smoked the taillights and 3rd Brake Light
Installed the Ford-Specific Morimoto LED Foglights
Dual HID Projector Retrofit with 'Dallas' and 'Cowboys' etched into the lenses.
Full 35w 5000k Morimoto and Hylux HID Upgrade
Quad Multi-Color Demon Eye Accent Lighting
Profile Switchback LED Turn Signals
Interior Demon Eye 'Notification' Floor Accent Lighting

This was my first time doing the new style of Ford headlights...these suckers are huge.....but still barely fit into Recardo DeRange....so that's good.
Did a nice two-tone Matte Black on Factory Ford Blue and the combo couldn't have came out better....super sexy blue color.
The Dual Demon Eyes accent the custom designs Dallas Cowboys logos and then the customer doesn't have a problem seeing which color is on when he's driving because his feet are lit up the same color......even though you should never drive with any other color besides White or Amber *Looks sternly at the audience*

The Morimoto LED foglights cleaned up the rest of the chrome in the front and provided him with much more light to the sides of the truck which help when corning.

Smoking the rear tails and 3rd light finished off the truck and gave it the sleek look the owner really wanted.

Look for this dope truck rollin' around the streets of Boise....it'll be hard to miss!

The F350 Beast is back for more

Good buddy of mine brought his massive truck back in for an audio upgrade.

It was at this moment that a budget was set and I made a decision......to give up on a dream I'd had for a long time......to stuff an 800w shallow mount woofer behind the seat of Earl Grey!

My 'personal' demo audio system has evolved over the years.....meaning, I'd purchased a full system with new products back in 2011 with all good intentions....then years passed without time to redo the interior of my truck the proper way.....so things sat. As time when on, New and Innovated products were released and made my BRAND NEW In Box products seem lame!
So I've sold and purchased a few different systems over the years....that eventually just sit and collect dust in my parts room.

Well....this was the most recent rendition of my demo system.....a Digital Designs SL710 Shallow Mount 10" 800w subwoofer with a Digital Designs D5.1000 5 Channel Amplifier.
When the owner told me of his plans.....to upgrade the audio system with a 5 channel amp and subwoofer first..then add speakers next, I thought it was time to upgrade my future system. So I gave in.....and he's glad I did.

I crammed that beast under the rear seat with plenty of breathing room It's going to put out over 100 watts RMS to his future door speakers...and around 800 watts RMS to that beast of a 10" shallow mount stuffed behind his seat in the nice SPL Ported truck box. It's a bit bigger than most shallow mount boxes, but I wanted that sub to have ALL the airspace it could handle.....1.35 Cu. Ft. seemed plenty :-D

Also on the docket.....we'll be installing a new Goose Neck Flip Ball in the bed (since a local dealership couldn't figure it out) and he didn't want to struggle looking at where he was backing up to.
We I fabricated a custom bracket to allow me to install a small camera up in the 3rd brake light area and wired it up to a brand new rear view mirror with built in 3.5" screen. It'll trigger automagically when placed in reverse so now he can see the bed AND behind him with dual backup cameras!

Local Dealership brought in this 2014 Dodge Ram that needed a backup camera added, as well as a factory-looking Remote Start unit.

Originally we were going to do a rear-view mirror with a built-in screen....but after some investigation, the factory mirror had 2 mic's built into it, as well as a few other items....so that's a No-Go.

PAC-AUDIO to the rescue. Used their Back-up camera interface unit that allowed us to tap into the factory 5" screen and made it function just as intended and like it came from the factory.

Then we put in our Omega remote start module that integrates into the truck without knowing it wasn't there in the first place!

When aftermarket taillights just aren't good enough

Return Client brought in some new LED taillights for his new Dodge Ram truck.
His factory color is white and there are no options for factory matched taillights...unless your truck is black.
So.....cracked these badboys open, painted the internals.....sealed them up....and painted the external lenses.
....and by painted....I mean, I did all the intricate cutting/trimming and my homie Lewin did all the painting mastery!

These turned out glossy gnarliness! You'll definitely notice these on the street

The included black anodized reservoir mounting clamp and other components are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. The race developed high flow damping piston matched with application specific vavling provides the 2.0 Performance Series Reservoir shock a predicable ride quality capable of handling the roughest road conditions.

CONTROL ARMS
4130 chromoly tubular upper control arms are 100% bolt on and hand crafted in the U.S.A.
UCA's are designed with added caster to aid in retaining factory alignment specs when aftermarket lift kits are installed. This reduces the darting or wandering in the vehicle's steering when 2.5"-3" lift kits are installed.
CNC machined tapered spindle adapters convert the factory ball joint to a 1" uniball for added component strength & maximum wheel travel.
TOTAL CHAOS includes 1" I.D. uniballs that feature a heat treated stainless steel ball & heat treated stainless steel race for maximum corrosion resistance and component longevity. These uniball's also features a military grade PTFE woven fabric liner that helps prevent noise.
Custom profile upper and lower hi-misalignment spacers maximize droop wheel travel and are machined from heat treated 17-4 stainless steel.
Upper control arms combined with extended length coil over shocks will allow for up to 1" of additional wheel travel.
Urethane bushings reduce bushing deflection compared to stock rubber bushings.
Control arm pivots include zerk fittings to grease the urethane bushings & inner sleeves without disassembly.
2 stage powder coat process includes a durable clear coat to provide a long lasting finish.
Complete grade 8 hardware kit is included.

ADD-A-LEAF KIT
A 3 leaf progressive racing style Add A Leaf set. Designed to replace the factory overload leaf. Comes with longer U-bolts and center pins.
*Lift amounts are approximate and may vary depending on chassis and load.
These add a leaf kits feature 60mm width, diamond cut ends and anti-friction pads for smooth, squeak free performance. They are tuned to enhance load performance while providing a good ride. Includes two add a leaf packs (3 leafs each), center pins and u-bolts.

Some bumps for this Ram

Client brought in his 2014 Dodge Ram truck for some audio upgrades.
He had previously purchased all this gear online and knew he needed someone else to install it...so he called us up and we squeezed him in.

He purchased a 1200w subwoofer amplifier and dual 10" woofers to be installed in an Atrend carpeted dodge-specific box.

I supplied the LOC device, which I soldered and tesa-taped into the factory harness behind the headunit.....looks OEM and can't really tell anything was done back there.
Then routed all the wiring down under the front passenger seat.
There used to be a factory jack under there...but that was removed previously...so I installed the amp there due to the factory panel that hides everything nicely.

Installed the bass knob into the small factory pocket in his dash so he has easy access to the bass, but not secured into massive factory panels....if he wants to return the truck to factory, he can order this $10 pocket and replace it easily.

Sierra received some Memphis Bumps

Client met up with me to discuss her many wants/needs for her truck.....and after some back-n-forth we decided this would be a good entry-level upgrade for her sound system.
She had been told she needed to replace everything to get the best sound possible....which is true...but not necessarily what fits the bill at the time....so here is what we did:

Memphis Audio 750w Amplifier
Memphis Audio 10" Slim-Mount Subwoofers
Raptor 4ga Amplifier Wiring Kit
Atrend Dual 10" GMC/Chevy Underseat subwoofer box

After integrating in the LOC device behind the factory headunit, I routed all the wires to the amplifier behind the rear seat.....i wanted to do this one a bit differently, so I decided to NOT remove the rear seat to install the amp....because that'll save about an hour in installation time...so I made a custom bracket to bolt the amplifier to that can be secured without having to remove the seats.....which definitely sped up the process.

This system definitely did what the customer was hoping for...she lit up as soon as she started walking into the shop...."Is that MY truck making that noise?"....which is what I always like to hear!

Cali Sierra gets the Trax "Midnight Package"

Client out of California sent me all his lights from his GMC Sierra to get the Trax Customs 'Midnight Package' Upgrade.....or at least that's what I'm calling it.

He sent me his factory projector headlights, chrome tow mirrors, rear taillights and 3rd brake lights.

HEADLIGHTS
For these, I simply deleted the factory amber lenses, upgraded his turn signals to a switchback version and blacked everything out except the factory clear lenses for the DRLs.

TOW MIRRORS
I cracked these open and upgraded the factory Amber running lights to Profile Switchback White/Amber LED strips....and then put them behind some Klearz Smoked Lenses and upgraded the chrome Upper/Lower covers to some factory Black ABS Plastic Covers.

TAILLIGHTS
Lewin gave these my 'Trax Dark' smoked treatment.....these are your average rattle-can taillights...these bad boys will blend with your factory paint and actually show you the flaws in your factory paint due to the high glossy-ness of the paint on the tails. They still allow 90% of light to pass through...so you shouldn't have any legality issues either.

I'll post pics once they are mounted up on the truck when it's complete.....it's getting fully rebuilt on the suspension side down in Cali currently.

Toyota Tundra with Tesla Screen, a Tesdra?

Return Client brought his Toyota Tundra back for some more upgrades.
First round we just installed some new headlights with our Elite HID System....this time he wanted even MORE lighting and some gnarly new tech inside of the cab.

First things first.....exterior lighting upgrade!

The owner had already replaced the lower fog lights with the Morimoto LED Pods....which are fine for most...but he wanted more, so we swapped those out for the Baja Designs Squadron Sport Wide Cornering pods with custom bezels to make them look OEM and fit the curvature of the truck's bumper.
Next, we shoe-horned in a 30" Baja Designs S8 Spot/Flood Combo bar and tied in the Parking Light Circuit to the S8's Amber Accent lights.
The Foglights are wired into the factory fog switch, so that operates normal.
The S8 bar is wired into a newly added 'Zombie Light' switch that takes the place of a dummy switch in the lower Left Hand side area near the factory light adjustments and other switches. The new switch is wired into the factory lighting circuit so you can find it at night to activate 'holy hell' lighting mode.

While I was messing around with the lights, I installed a Front Facing camera in the OEM Toyota logo.

Moving on to the interior, the old headunit had all the bells and whistles anyone might want.....but this replacement beats the crap out of it.........because....well, it's Tesla inspired!

Here we've got a 12.1" Tesla-ish screen that entirely replaces the existing headunit AND HVAC system.
Normally I'm not too into these units, because they use older Android software and don't integrate very well.
This one is a game changer.
It fully integrates and replaces every feature on the truck and adds a ton of new ones. As you can see with the pics I took, here are just SOME of the features:

12.1 inch vertical touch screen, Tesla style.
Supports split screen display two functions at the same time.
Supports full screen display of navigation map.
Installation of Android apps in Play Store and from “Unknown sources”.
GPS navigation with Android apps of your choice.
WiFi Internet connection.
Bluetooth music and hands-free calling.
MirrorLink with smartphones.
Touch control of auto A/C. Display car info like RPM, speed. Optional TV, DVD, DVR modules, etc.
Retains factory backup cam, USB, steering wheel control, AUX input.
Support most audio and video format.
Support Picture in Picture (PIP) playback of movies.
EQ balanced audio processing technology and 5.1 DSP Audio.
Support RCA rearview camera and other RCA Video input.

I also added a qI wireless charging pad in his center console....he supplied the unit, which works just fine; but we offer a whole line of vehicle-specific units that fit flawlessly into your vehicle without knowing it wasn't stock/OEM.

This unit is something else.....I'll report back in a while on this post to see what the customer thinks after a few weeks of use......but this unit can be installed in multiple vehicles, different makes/models with more added all the time...so hit me up if this is something you'd like.
