He attempted to retrofit some Halo's into his headlights.......he accomplished that-ish.
The messed up part is the product's manufacturer directed him to GLUE the halos on.....which he accomplished.
The problems started when the glue ran everywhere and ruined the look of the light.
Then to compound the issues, he attempted to use brake-cleaner to get rid of the glue.
That did nothing....but what it did do what leave an undetectable residue inside to later off-gas once sealed up and coat the inside of the headlight lens with a concrete-ish type of film.
Now, as this point, most places would have wrote this off and told customer to go pound-sand.
Not Trax Customs....we'll give anything a go; if it means we can better our skills and help a customer out!
After hours of sanding and polishing, these lights were restored back to......ohhhh...I'd say 95% clarity.
There were some gnarly inside corners/radius' that I couldn't get perfect.....but the customer was stoked I saved them $400-$500 in new headlights.
So that made me happy!
