If you don't know what that means, I highly suggest you look it up...it's kinda like the Lowrider scene but over in Japan....some of these guys go all out over there...and the culture has evolved over here as well.
Basically, you start with these already over-the-top luxury cars (older) and you make them even more VIP.....these are meant for You to be Driven....not to drive....
First off, we threw some air on it.....while....yes, it obviously already had factory air-ride....it just wasn't enough.....so we ripped all of that out and installed Airlift Performance Double Bellow bags Front/Rear with Dual Compressors and a nice Polished 5 gallon air tank. To control it all, we used Airlift's 3P Air Management system.....still relying on air pressure to control the ride height, this setup is nice because you can still control it via your Bluetooth Enabled Smartphone....as well as the digital hardwired controller that I fabbed up in the center console.
We had the homie Chris roll the rear fenders a bit to allow us to drop it a touch more....but we're still considering doing a full metal wide-body in the rear to make this car sit nuts!
Now onto the other cosmetic upgrades.
First off....curtains? You might be saying "WTF?"....but this is true japanese vip must-haves.....I installed the window curtains from Junction Produce as well as a Headrest Cushions and even Rear View Mirror Tsuna and Fusa Kiku Knots. (look em up...I forgot to snap pics)
On the list of things I forgot to snap pics of.....I installed some custom RGB Multi-Colorerd Custom Wired Puddle Lights....all of which are controlled via smartphone as well....and to let him know what color they are, I installed interior feet well LEDs to match the exterior.
His factory Premium Amplified subwoofer was blown and THAT was a chore to remove and find a replacement....since it was a 16ohm subwoofer.....but luckily I found one on the deep web and had it here in time to drop in and upgrade the materials used to produce a much cleaner bass output.
The last thing on the list was fix the door issues.
He had someone else wire in turns signals and puddle lights on the factory upgraded mirrors....but they just never worked correctly.
So after some troubleshooting and fixing of the hack-ness that went on.....his mirrors now function properly.....oh...and full replacement of this driver side door computer (yeah, this car has everything) allowed his mirrors/windows/etc to finally reliably function properly!
This car isn't done yet.....but he's now finally able to drive it after having it sit for YEARS! Glad we were able to help!
