Client brought in his 1970 Pontiac LeMans Sport for some interior work and full audio upgrade.
He didn't have anything in there besides some kick panels with kickers installed......ain't nobody got time fo dat!
So here is what he got:
RetroSounds Digital RadioOne Deck (looks old, but new tech)
Arc Audio XDI 5-Channel Amplifier
Arc Audio Arc Series Component Speakers (Front)
Arc Audio Arc Series Coaxial Speakers (Rear, Doors)
Arc Audio Arc Series 10" Subwoofers
Custom Dual 10" Sub Boxes
Fully Sound Deadened Trunk
Full Carpeted Trunk
The challenge with this build is that it's an old school convertible...so you lose quite a bit of sound as it has to travel through the convertible top (when stored) and the massive back seat......but that wasn't a challenge for a properly built sub system and plenty of power.
These Arc amps are tiny but MAN do they pack a punch.
This system sounded VERY nice and had PLENTY of bass.....and, after a thorough demo, I think I may have converted this client into an EDM Bass Head :-D
