Client and his friend brought me their Volvo headlights, and wanted them modified.
These lights came with OEM HIDs, so the output was good enough for them.
They just wanted them to match their vehicles a bit better.
Volvo (as with a few other companies) painted ALL the OEM headlight shrouds a stock looking silver color.
Well, one car is a Volvo metallic black and the other is a red...so the silver doesn't match.
The first set we painted to match the black.
We also smoked his side marker lens and blinker housing.
In both sets we removed the OEM DRL Bulb and replaced it with a high powered LED, Blue in color.
I did as much black as I could in this headlight, as that was the goal.
The second set was a simple painting of the OEM shroud, to a specific grey the owner wanted. (This Grey is a matte grey with a glossy finish...one I will more than likely end up stealing and painting my Truck with).
I also converted the DRL over to Blue LEDs in this one too.
