She would continually see her father out on paved roads just driving along doing his own thing...even though this isn't supposed to be legally on the road.
So, we had to fix that.
First up.....Legal Lighting
I installed front and rear turn signals, via small LED modules in the front lower bumper and upper rear of the roll cage. These are activated off a toggle switch on the dash (not a massive old-school looking turn lever under the steering wheel).
Next, I put in a Horn....activated off a push-button switch on the dash as well.
This turned out to be the owners favorite feature :-D
After that, the 'splurge' of the project was Rigid Industries new Reflect LED mirrors. Although you can never have too much forward lighting, this was something every side-by-side should have....these mirrors are much bigger than the factory ones and have forward LED lighting integrated into them....as well as turn signals.
So now no-one is missing this thing when it's turning....as well as cruising down the dirt roads.
I tied the LED forward lighting into the RZRs high beams so no more switches needed to be installed.
The turn signals are tied into the fronts as well.
Next I added an interior rear view mirror....this is a nice elongated curved mirror...it's got a rugged dual mount post so there is not adjusting this beast and it'll hang on throughout your rugged off road adventures.
Last was the custom fitted upper doors.
These were subject to delay after delay from the manufacturer and holiday shipping.....but we got them in and fitted to the doors. They are secured via Velcro and OEM push pins...so they'll stay secured when needed but can be removed during summer months.
They allow entry and exiting via a nice double zipper unit.
After installation, I cruised outside with just a t-shirt on and it was 35 degrees out.....very comfy ride inside!
If you live in the Twin Falls area, WATCH OUT....cause this thing is legal and the driver can now go anywhere!
